At the time that I am writing this, my internship is coming to an end. Saying that is actually making me very sad. My internship was such a great experience for me. I met so many new people and got to connect to people like I never have before anywhere else. It did not feel like a month at all, it still feels like I am barely starting. The staff at my internship site is very small, so I have been able to build my own relationship with each person there. It is now all over. During the duration of my internship, I feel and I have been told by my colleagues that I have made a huge impact at the San Diego Art Institute in many ways. The team at the institute is very small (it is a team of five people) so I have been a real help for them. They always like to remind me that if I wasn’t there, they would be doing all of these task all alone. Since internship is over, they are back to doing all the task on their own. Luckily during my time at internship, I was able to cut through a lot of task for them and make things a bit easier for the people working there. The staff looks sad watching the interns have to go. Once we are gone, they we be on low staff again. At my time at my internship, I was able to make a screening room, and develop a teen program for the institute which is something that would have taken a while for just one person there to be doing. All the work I did at the institute has been greatly appreciated. Leave a Reply. |
