Describe your scientific and creative process to develop drawing skills to create your anatomical drawings
If I am being honest, I did not take much time to make my anatomical drawings. At the time when we began making them, I was going to New York, so I was very excited for that. I sort of just did a bit before I left, like outlining my drawings and such, and then on the plane I finished them.
What did you learn about the scientific process through the creative process?
I was able to learn that the scientific process is all about curiosity and creativity. For anything in the scientific process, you need to somehow get some sort of idea. Those idea's all come from the creative process.
What challenges did you encounter in creating your best work?
The biggest challenge for me was managing my time for the drawing properly, and creating value on my drawings to make the shading in them look more realistic to a viewer. I spent most of my time trying to add value to my drawings but every time I added more, it would not really make a big difference in it. It always looked the same.
What are you most proud of in creating your best work?
I am most proud of the shapes that I made in them. I was really able to focus in on the lines and shapes the I was making to make the final big shape of the heart. I took good time on them and did not have to nor did I erase once through it all.
