This week, we went on another field trip at the end of the week. This time, we went to the place where our final exhibition will be for our project. We went here to finally actually launch our project. When we got there, I realized that it was at a church. I found it a bit odd that our exhibition is going to be at a church. After going inside and looking around, it seemed to be more than just a church. There was a cafe inside where coffee was served. The place where we our having our exhibition is a cafe on the side of the church. One of the people that worked there was a activist himself. We did lot’s of activities throughout the day like exploring different types of zines and looking more into the historical topics we had. During lunch, everyone got to go eat their tacos that were being served while I did not because I randomly got a horrible stomach ache and just felt horrible. I decided to get a coffee which was actually really good and “not the cheap stuff” like the guy who made it said. Although the coffee was good, it ended up not being the best idea since my stomach ache got much worse after. After lunch, we had a group of five very passionate advocates. My favorite out of them was the first one. She was an artist which I was able to relate too. She talked about how she expresses herself through her passion in art.
