This week, we prepared a lot for our Interview Day at the end of the week. I was interviewing with The San Diego Center for International Trade Development. I knew absolutely nothing about who or what they were. I imagined that they had to be related in some way to business which I was right on. I didn’t do much to prepare for the interview other than looking a little into the company and adjusting my resume and cover letter for the interview. Other than that I did nothing. When interview day came around, I was nervous as hell. My interview was at 9:00 AM with Monica Rosas. I went to sleep the day before interview day at midnight which was a bad idea. When I woke up, I needed more sleep but had to get up. I got ready a bit late and went downstairs for breakfast the I always assume is made but this day was not made. So I had to hurry up and grab snacks, not eat breakfast, accidentally leave my meal prep (lunch) due to the rush, and rush to school which was completely horrible. I got to school in my suit that didn’t fit me anymore and nervously waited until it was my time to interview. I finally got called to get to my interview spot and ended up getting more nervous, I was watching all the interviewers walking by wondering which one was going to be Monica Rosas. She finally revealed herself when she called me in. While doing the interview, I realized I had nothing to worry about, it was such a relieving and comfortable experience.
